Our Expert Witness service is delivered by Managing Director James Cullen BSc Hons FRICS FCIOB IMaPS C.Build E FCABE.
James is an experienced Chartered Building Surveyor and holds the RICS Expert Witness certificate. James is an RICS Accredited Expert Witness and Fellow of the RICS. He is a Fellow of the Chartered Association of Building Engineers and a Fellow Chartered Construction Manager with the Chartered Institute of Building.
He is approved as an Expert Witness by the RICS presidential panel. James also holds incorporated membership with the Association for Project safety. He is qualified in level 2 fire risk assessment and is a qualified and registered drone pilot.
James has written for the RICS Built Environment Journal as an Expert and is a group member of the RICS editorial board. James has contributed to RICS publications, journals, guidance and regulation and is set to feature in the RICS podcast. He is experienced in preparing CPR Part 35 compliant expert reports on large and small scale commercial developments, residential disputes, construction works, defects and housing disrepair claims including reference to the Landlord and Tenant Act 1985 (Section 11), Defective Premises Act 1972 and Homes (Fitness for Human Habitation) Act 2018.
